More Beauty

As promised here are some pictures of my dark beauties, and one that had not bloomed yet last picture session. I always look forward to this time of year when they are all blooming. I think if they lasted all year they would not be as special. I will enjoy them while I can.

Blooming Beauties

The thing I love about Iris blooms is they come in all colors and sizes. You like blue, no problem we have fifty shades to choose from. Yellow? maybe sixty. If dark colors are your thing, then there are some of those also.

This beautiful yellow and pink is new this year.
I have wanted this one since I first saw it in my

aunts garden. Finally victory.

Mushroom Season

For those of you who wait all year for this season, here are some pictures of the rewards of hunting these golden beauties. These are my aunts very skillful hands as she prepares them to perfection. you may now commence drooling. Please remember to wipe your chin afterwards though.

Ahh Springtime

The day after I took this picture we had Daffodils blooming every where as though to say hey we want our pictures taken too. They are the first bright spot to appear after what can be long bleak winters. They are a promise and hope of many more lovely flowers to come along with the fact that Spring will come no matter how hard cold weather tries to hang on. A time of warmth and beauty does follow. So here is a a big yes yes yes it is here (Spring that is). Enjoy

Valentines Day is almost here. This is a day for Love to be celebrated whether it be romantic, a friend, family we all tend to get a little mushy in one way or another on this special day. So don't be afraid to tell the ones that mean something to you that they do. Lets never miss a chance to tell our loved ones our feelings for them. No one ever said I wish I had said I love you less often. So Happy Valentines Day to you all. Now go snuggle with your honey or call your family whatever makes it special for you.

The Holidays are here and it is snowing. While I am way to grown up and mature to show it on the inside this is me. Nuff said?

A nice moment

Coming home from my aunt and uncles after a wonderful Fourth of July meal I was noticing how, even with it being hot, that just looking around at the lush looking crops and the sun shining just right on the ground and trees that I had a everything is right with the world moment. It struck me that even with everything going on in the world for that few minutes everything was just perfect.Ever had one of those? If not I hope you get to experience one it was quite nice.

Old Glory

This Flag reminds me of our Country. A little tattered around the edges, but still flying strong and proud. We are after all 236 years old this Fourth of July I guess we deserve to show our age a little. I know compared to some countries and cultures we are still mere pups but maybe all that has been going on is just us entering adolesnces with all that entails. I still believe we are a great country and am proud to come from here. I will never hang my head in shame as some of our own leadership would have us do. So as we approach another July 4 lets remember all that is great about this land of ours. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

Good Wishes

Well the new year is well under way may it be better then the last. Things are finally sliding back to good in the family and for that I am truely grateful to the Lord. I pray for a blessed new year with all in good health and happy of spirit and mind. Love all of you so here is to a great year to all.

Mothers Day 2009. It has been 5 years since Mom my best friend passed. I still miss her a lot. I guess I always will. So Here is to all the wonderful Moms out there cheers to you.
